Geotechnical Services for Rosecrans Avenue/Atlantic Avenue & Artesia Boulevard/Santa Fe Intersection Improvements (2021-2023)
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro), in cooperation with the City of Compton, intends to improve Rosecrans Avenue/Atlantic Avenue and Artesia Boulevard/Santa Fe Avenue Intersections in the City of Compton and the County of Los Angeles. The proposed improvements include: adding a westbound right-turn lane at Atlantic Avenue and Rosecrans Avenue; adding an eastbound right-turn lane and converting the eastbound right-turn lane into a shared through/right-turn lane at Artesia Boulevard and Santa Fe Avenue. GAI performed field drilling, laboratory testing, and pavement distress evaluation, and provided a final pavement report for the project.
