Geotechnical and Materials Testing and Inspection for Redondo Beach South Bay Regional Intermodal Transit Center (2019-2022)
The project involved the construction of a new transit center on Kingsdale Avenue which included the construction of a new transit building, bus bays, retaining walls, parking lot, and associated appurtenances. GAI provided during construction geotechnical and materials inspection and testing services. Our scope of work included performing as the geotechnical engineer for the project, providing field monitoring, testing, and inspection for the grading work, and laboratory tests on soils, base asphalt, and concrete.
