Geotechnical Investigation and Soils and Materials Testing and Inspection for Fullerton College Chapman Newell Site (2018-Ongoing)
The project includes the construction of a one- to two-story instructional building in the northern half of the site and a parking area in the southern half of the Chapman Newell Site. The instructional building will have a footprint of less than 10,000 square feet. The development also consists of an onsite stormwater infiltration system. GAI provided a geotechnical investigation which included performing a site reconnaissance, conducting exploratory borings and a percolation test, laboratory testing, engineering analyses, and preparing a geotechnical evaluation report which provided our recommendations for the design and construction of the proposed developments from a geotechnical standpoint. GAI is currently providing during construction soils and materials testing and inspection services for this project.
