Pavement Evaluation and Recommendation for Grand Avenue (2020)
The city rehabilitated Grand Avenue, a high-traffic volume principal arterial street, between Freeway 71 on-ramp and Pipeline Avenue. The project length was approximately 2,700 feet. The segment of Grand Avenue for this project comprises four lanes in each direction. GAI provided a pavement investigation to evaluate the existing pavement sections’ thicknesses, subgrade soil conditions, and general pavement distresses.
