Pavement Evaluation, Geotechnical and Materials Special Inspection for El Prado Road Pavement Reconstruction Between Kimball Avenue & Central Avenue (2020)
The project involved the reconstruction of the pavement section for El Prado Rd. between Kimball Ave. and Central Ave., and included pulverizing the existing asphalt and base layers, mixing the pulverized materials with cement, compacting, and curing the cement-treated base, and placing 6.5 inches of asphalt on top of the treated base layer. The project also included the R&R of some existing curb and gutters, and ramps and crosswalks.
GAI provided all the during construction geotechnical and materials special inspection services for this project.
