Materials Testing and Conditions Assessment Report for Los Angeles County (2022-2023)
The County intended to structurally retrofit the existing Civic Center Central Plant located in the City of Los Angeles. The planned future retrofit work will include seismic and structural upgrades and building strengthening. The Central Plant building is a one-story steel and concrete structure with a stepped roof and mezzanine level. GAI performed materials testing and condition assessment report and provided insight for the structural engineers in charge of providing recommendations for the facilities’ seismic upgrade.
