Geotechnical Services for Lynwood Intersection Improvements PS&E (2021-2022)
The project proposes to implement focused congestion mitigation measures with intersection improvements along Imperial Highway between State Street and Wright Road, providing congestion relief during peak hours. The congestion mitigation measures were determined during the Preliminary Engineering phase of the Project and include geometric improvements at four (4) of those intersections within the City of Lynwood. GAI as a subconsultant to WKE|HDR, Inc., provided geotechnical services including field drilling, laboratory testing, and pavement distress evaluation, and prepared a geotechnical report for this project.
