The “Geotechnical Engineering, Soils and Materials Testing, and Inspection for QANTAS Hangar Project at Los Angeles International Airport” completed in 2017
GAI proudly announces the successful completion of the Qantas Hangar Project as the Geotechnical Engineer of the Record and Quality Controller. The job consisted of massive grading operations for a large area located on the west end of the airport and included grading of a large-span hangar, with a footprint of about 110,000 square feet, as well as taxiway connectors and aprons. The project was under the City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) authority.
